Well one important thing in business is knowing what your customers want. Doing a research; market research on what your customers are looking for, market trends, all that kind of stuff can be expensive sometimes especially if you get into things like focus groups or if you have pay someone to do it for you.
Well if you just want to get some general opinions, there is actually a cool website that I came across its called ask500people.com and you can sign up for free but it basically allows you to ask any kind of question. Come up with the multiple potential answers and it will post it to the community and you will actually a bunch of feedback. As you can see up in the screen right now, someone posted the question do you think we will be able delay aging. On the right hand side, this is one of the ways you can get your answers. It has a chart here; unlikely-likely and you can look down the screen you can see all the different results that were given and also on the left here we have a map of where all these different came from when they were giving their opinions.
It is pretty easy to set it up as well. I have already logged in and signed up and again it is free. You go to the ask question button and then you just follow through the steps here. I can ask my question, what is your favorite animal. Obviously if you are in business, you want to ask something a little more in depth but I am just giving an example here. And then you go down to the second part and it will ask you how you want your answers, You can import things like images, text choices, a one to five range or even a simple yes or no.
So again, if you want to get some basic research done, do not have all the bucks to do it. Check out ask500people.com.
