How to Perform Killer Quads Exercises - part 2
One of my pet peeves is coming into the gym and watching someone perform the leg extension which is probably the most basic exercise you can do. Well, most people you will see doing it incorrectly. Today I am going to show you the correct way to do it, and in my opinion, I don't know what is having a baby feels like, but if it is anything like this, and if it's worse than this, I don't have anything to do with it, okay? Because these have to be the most painful exercise you can perform if you do it correctly.
So your posture as in any of the machines that you sit on, any of the exercises that you do, is correct. You got to sit up straight and engage the muscles that you are thinking working. In this case, the quadriceps. So you're going to sit up nice and straight. Here is the exercise done correctly. This pace, no faster. Contraction, one, two, three, slowly. One, two, three. Do not let the weight down. One, two, three. That's your pace. At five repetetions, you should be thinking you can't go on, but you can make it to ten to twelve, I assure you that. If you keep doing that exercise, at that pace, you will have the killer quads that you want.
