Hi! Earlier today, I went to an indoor pool because I wanted to try some Pilates. The pool was not heated, so I did not get in all the way, but at least I can show you what I was going to try.
For this first exercise, make sure you are just deep in the water by pumping your hands forward and back while standing on one leg, you are working almost the whole body.
This squat movement works, abs, back, glutes and quads. You need to be standing on a kickboard and try to hold each squat for 30 seconds.
[Demonstration]
This exercise works abs, waist, back and inner thighs. It is also a great stretch for your arms and hamstrings.
[Demonstration]
This next exercise is power squat, power plie and it works your abs, waist, back, glutes, and legs, go for eight reps.
[Demonstration]
This next move is kind of like the plank position in yoga. By rotating your body as shown, you are working your abs, waist, back, glutes, hamstrings, quads and calves.
[Demonstration]
Hopefully, the next time, when I brought this Pilates, I will actually be in the pool.
That is it for now and I will see you next time on BodyRock.tv.
