Hello YouTube users, I’m Epic from TRICKSet. This is a tutorial for the B Twist. Please, no negative feedback, this is mainly just for those who want to learn. So if you have your own ideas that you like to throw in there, please do. First, I’ll demonstrate a B Twist.

Now the butterfly twist obviously evolved from the butterfly kick, which looks like here.

Like that. All of this is just that with a twist. Now if you haven’t watched my B Kick Tutorial or if you haven’t watched any B Kick Tutorial or Butterfly Kick, make sure you watch that because the concept is still the same, you just add a twist, but I will break it down anyways. Some people like to start here and then go into it. Some people like to start from a stand and go into it. Some people like to do what I call momentum steps where you’re spinning and go into it, but either way, as long as you get this where you’re comfortable to dip down.
Now, the dip is probably one of the most important parts depending on how high you want to get. So if you’re learning this, I would suggest you get height. So basically you’re here, start from facing this way, this straight, and knee bent. You dip down low as you bend your knees, put it up here.
Now when you do this, don’t lift your back because that’s what’s going to make it go kind of like slanted. For a good form of B Twist, you want to go at least flat or maybe more or whatever. So what you do, kind of like a B Kick, you focus on getting up first, lift this leg up and push off this leg. So lift and push, so I would lift, push, you're going to flatten yourself out and you’ll find yourself rotating. I will do one more so I can slow it down, see what I’m talking about.

So like I said, once you’re in the air, that’s when you basically bring your feet together, bring your hands to your chest, tuck just a little bit, you should spin. And when you see the ground, if you’re high enough, you will see the ground and some people will end here on their first time. Some people will land where they plant this foot up, come down. One easy way to think of the B Twist is of a tornado from a stand. From here, stepping and going to a tornado kick. It’s kind of going here and going like.
[Demonstration]
Like that but where you slant it and you add the dip, so I will do one more real quick.
[Demonstration]
Hopefully that was clean. To get a spin, a lot of people will find themselves not spinning enough and they will be falling down here or they try to spin up too soon. And what that does is they will be here and they’ll try and spin up like here or whatever, and then they will land about here.
To stop that, you really need to focus on your legs. You’ve really got to lift that one leg and push off the other one. So when you lift and push, I guess kind of arch your back. It doesn’t matter. It depends on how you do it. So lift, push in the air horizontal, straighten your body out, make your twist, come down with a kick or just come down where you land. You can pick up and then go to the jinga.
Now if this tutorial hasn’t helped you so far or if you’re still having problems, instead of asking me or someone else, pay attention to what you’re doing wrong. If you’re landing on the ground too soon, you’re obviously not getting enough height. Or if your spin is not going around all the way, you’re obviously not getting enough spin. So ask yourself how would you fix that, how would you make yourself spin faster, get higher, or how would you fix whatever problem that you have. And then think of ways to do that before you can master that better and then try that, try everything out.
If you’re still having problems, of course you can still ask me or anybody else who can do a B Twist, and I will do one more for you guys.
[Demonstration]
And that’s the tutorial for the B Twist. Thanks.
