it's quite easy. if you noticed, when he shows the cards and asks the colors, the way he shuffles the cards around, the bottom card is the same exact card, so there is actually only one blue backed card. i do a trick similar to this where the spectator thinks that i point to a different card but it's actually the same card everytime. his right hand has the same card on the bottom the whole time

A Svengali deck of playing cards is used for this effect. Google it. A Svengali deck is a trick deck comprised of 26 normal cards and 26 duplicates. The duplicates are shaved slightly on their ends, negligibly shorter than the 26 normal cards. With this special pack of cards, it's an easy matter to show all the cards all to be different. By spreading the cards a different way, you can ensure that all the cards appear the same.

Male: Alright Kevin, for this trick, we are going to be using a jumbo set of Bicycle cards. Can you see color? Kevin: Yes. Male: Yes. What color is this? Kevin: Blue. Male: Blue, and this one here is? Kevin: Multicolored. Male: Multicolored, but the suit is? Kevin: Black Male: Black, and the suit on this one is? Kevin: Red. Male: And the color on this is? Kevin: Blue. Male: Blue, and the color on this is? Kevin: Black. Male: And the color on this is? Kevin: Red. Male: You are very good at this. Do you practice? Kevin: Yes. Male: Okay, and this color is? Kevin: Red. Male: And this color is? Kevin: Blue. Male: Blue, and this color is? Kevin: Black. Male: And this color is? Kevin: Red. Male: And this color is? Kevin: Blue. Male: Perfect! What is actually going to happen right now is you are going to pick out any card you would like out of the pack. Okay, so we will go ahead and just fan the cards out. Just choose any one you like. The ten of Spades is your card? Okay, hold up the ten of Spades just like that so everyone can see it, and go ahead and just flip it over just like that. Kevin: Red. Male: You got the only red card. What actually happens is the ten of Spades is a soft inked card and what happens is when you just rub it on the rest of the pack, all the cards actually become red. And we will go ahead and just give them a little fan, just like that.
