How to Perform a Fancy Start for Juggling

A great way to start your routine is with a fancy start. Here are two fancy starts which really will spice up your juggling. One is where you put two balls in the right hand and throw them behind your back to the front of your body. I like to turn my body sideways and come around and catch them. It takes a while to practice to get that throw just the way you want it so the two balls fly up at the same time. Do not be discouraged when you drop. It takes a lot of practice.]

The other fancy start looks like this. What I am doing there is putting a ball in the palm of my hand and the other two balls between my fingers and my thumb and either side of my index finger. Imagine you have a splint on your hand. If you bend your wrist when you do this, the top also go over your head. But we want them to all go straight up. If you do it with enough practice, you can get it to the top of your palm, it goes up lower than the two balls in your fingers.

Once you get that enough, you can vary in your routine, different fancy starts.
