How to Perform a Frontflip

Hi, what’s up people? This is Epic from TRICKSet. This is a tutorial for a Frontflip. Obviously, there are many ways to do this. Here is how I do it. [Demonstration] To demonstrate it first, okay. Now, the way I start. Some people, they don’t get enough momentum to jump so they don’t end up high. All you need—if just saw that, I got a small bounce. That’s all you need. If you can go like, if it feels comfortable, that’s what you use. You use that jump, you jump up and out. You reach out, tuck tight, you need to tuck fast. A lot of people will do this. [Demonstration] Now, the reason that happens is because they don’t tuck fast enough, okay? The way to tuck faster, try this, from here I’ll go here. [Demonstration] Like that. If you can do that one, it’s just like that but in the end. So with that bounce, you got this little rotation here. You get that down, you tuck, you use that bounce, do the tuck, you go to here and bust it here just like that. [Demonstration] I almost fell down there but yeah, you get the idea. One more time. [Demonstration] Alright, now the landing part. If you have a problem with the landing, you had to do what to do ion between. The frontflip is harder than a backflip. I’m sorry for all of you who think it’s not because to me, it is. The reason why I think that is because when I use the frontflip, it’s hard to spot your landing. Whereas your backflip, you see the ground. In the backflip, you see the ground before you land. So what we’re going to do is we tuck. The faster you tuck, you’ll be able to see more of the ground. We’ll work on controlling the landing, it’s controlling the tuck. If you can control the tuck, it’s how high you’ll get. Or if you learn how high off the ground, then you know how fast kind of a tuck to land it. For landing, you land on the balls of your feet, like that, but keep your knees bent. Be strong enough to let it bounce, kind of like that, so one more time. [Demonstration] Just like that. That’s the tutorial for the frontflip.
