Hi! What’s up everybody? Again, this is a tutorial on the raiz on that again but yeah. If you don’t know what a raiz is it’s like a tornado kick but with an aerial to it. It sounds confusing but I’ll demonstrate one first.
[Demonstration]
All right, a key to a good balance is keeping your legs straight. Sometimes I have to work on that but if you can do it, I mean that’s good then. A raiz is really famous because sometimes people can actually raiz and go into a court full or they can swing until like a getting it back from kicking move or whatever all right. So what the last start, like a tornado kick or 540 kick. I wined up here sometimes, so you’re here and then I go here. I switch one foot from one foot of the other because I give this foot to support me and I step. Now when I step, I don’t lift my leg high. You focus on that, you don’t really need all that, you just need enough—you just need a basic step.
So let me do that step to here. I put my arms down and bring it up towards the sky. And if you know as I lift this layout first because that’s the one that’s going to come up, so here and this leg comes last. So it’s like lift and push. It’s like in a lot of my tutorial. I talked about that lift and push, very important for anything. So lift and push, I kind of go up, turn and pulled the sky and now I kind of come over, left leg here, right leg here come down and then with the kick. So here I will do one. I’ll make this one slow motion.
[Demonstration]
Okay, and for the landing, when you land make sure you’re going to spot the ground first. If you can’t spot the ground—I mean if you’re landing it good, you keep doing it but we’re going to see the landing first. Now, you can actually control it, maybe going to something like a rise. When you come swing through or kick or something like that. But you land with one leg come down with a kick. And in the middle find to escape far from me because I’m still trying to teach myself how to do this one the other side and it’s really weird because you’re doing something you’re not use to doing. You go here, almost have to do it just like I do when I was in the original side and it’s so confusing. But we want to teach yourself how to be up like in aerial. The basic focus on this leg mainly because this leg is the first one that comes off, and this leg is useful because I’m pushing, all right. But this one, you have to land on this one because this is the first one that comes off. So here going up, turn your body, you’ll come down about here landing kick.
Now it’s kind of hard to demonstrate while I’m doing it in the air, so I will do one more and then give it like a little slower than the slow motion version so you can see really well what I’m doing. I’ll do it diagonal angle, forward angle and a side angle for you.
[Demonstration]
Okay, forward angle.
[Demonstration]
And then the side angle.
[Demonstration]
Hopefully that’s helped. Again, the rise, revolve from the 20 kick and then, you’re going to start-off like an aerial. So if you notice this part here the leg. If you can’t do an aerial, you go and learn that because it kinds of helps. It’s just when you get aerial you're going to hear but it’s that a twisting by this way. And then like here, you’re actually twisting the other way. So you still taking off this foot and lifting this foot first and you’re still landing on the left foot first but you’re supporting the other leg, so instead of going here because in that way, you will go here push that way. So if you think of that way, hopefully it helps.
If anybody has any other pointers, those in the comments all right, so much you read the comments in cases other pointers. So please no negative feedback. This is mainly for those who want to learn and yeah, hopefully that helps. This is the tutorial for the raiz. I’m Epic from Trick Set, thanks.
