Female Speaker: Welcome today we are going to show you how to do a squat of dumbbells other wise know as at your gyms as Russian squat. so while we use training with the squat fro the lower body segment is because squats really targets large muscle groups so into this case it target on Patrick the front of thigh the quad and the back your glut is maximized and also there is many different leg muscles they target so its really great way to start up warm up muscles that you are going to be using afterward and have a great work out. So Patrick you ready. Before doing the movement we are going to show you the general quiz fro the squat. So Patrick important thing were slight head up head straights in line, secondly shoulder is down and shoulder is bend back good, abs tight and finally your feet should be parallel to each other shoulder with apart for this exercise facing forward good.
Now the movement is we are going to go slow and don't go too fast in any exercise in weight training you always have to take your time depending were you go with in this case I am going to show you the right way of doing it so simply we are going to follow a tempo of 202 which means one thousand, two thousand going down and in the same one thousand going back up, so you are going to bend your knees Patrick bend your knees and dream you are plug out like being sitting in a chair with some quarter size you bring your up do the full movement is that your butts has to stay parallel to the floor all times. We don't want to go lower in that bring it back up.
So Patrick I will ask you to pick up your weights the rights way don't round up your back do a spot way to pick up your waist great good. Now we will start the movement so like I said standing off, bending your knees and shoulders back bring your butt up parallel to the floor bringing and going back up at all times never rounding the back don't go too fast not be ankle your self and other things also is like Patrick is doing you should your knees never go over your feet always bring all the weights on your heel as no good way with you to remember good give me two more times.
The breathing Patrick doesn't seems as he is breathing he is turning head, as he is going down inhale as you going up exhale. It's always important to exhale with the effort is required, good exhale so that means said this is a squat with dumbbells there are many different ways of showing the squat we will show you at a variations on the next flip.
