How to Perform a Walking Lunge With a Twist

I'm Amy Mac. And in today’s fit life, we’re building on that series of lunges. We’ve done the standing lunge. We’ve done the walking lunge. Now we’re going to put all that together and we’re going to do a walking lunge with a twist. So grab a weight and let’s get started. All right you’ve got that weights, now let’s do a nice wide stand. Left leg forward, right leg back. Now bring that right down as you do holding that weight into you, rolling back those shoulders squeezing the stomach. You want to rotate to the opposite side. Bring it back to the center, bring the right leg through, left leg down, and rotate to the right. Those are going to great for your balance, great for your stomach and of course we’re still working that butt and thigh. Make sure that knee doesn’t come over the toe. Squeeze in that’s stomach and make sure your taking deep breaths. You want to do 10 to 15 steps on each side. Well that concludes this three-part lunge series.
