This is your energizing breath, also called Breath of Fire. This is a great technique anytime you need a little boost of energy in the middle of your day.
And the best part about it is it only takes one minute. So, Megan is going to demonstrate for us. She’ll put her hand on her belly. She is going to take a full inhalation. She’ll exhale completely, release all of the air. She will inhale one more time and now, she’ll start to breath and pump the belly. Go.

Good. Notice how she is assisting the air out, really nice. It stimulates the nervous system. It gives you more energy. Three two one, full exhalation and relax for a moment. Really nice.
So traditionally, this is practiced as a cycle of nine. So we will do this one more time. Megan will put her hand on her belly. She will take a full inhalation, full exhalation. One more inhale, fill up and just nine. Go.

Full exhalation and simply release. Nice job. So this is a wonderful technique anytime you need a little blast of energy in the course of your day.
