How to Personalize iPhone Voice Control

Hey I'm Donald Bell from CNET.com and today I'm going to show you some tips on personalizing the voice control features on the iPhone. Most iPhone users I now go about this far with voice control they press hold on the home button or the headphone remote into the voice screen comes up and they call up the contact by saying call and the name of the person, call Donald Bell. That’s fine but sometimes if you feel kind the robotics speaking peoples phone names in your phone. If you want teach your iPhones responds to nick names open up a contact and hit the edit button in the upper right corner then scroll all the way on the bottom and find the selection called add field. When you click on this you'll find a whole bunch useful option including the field for giving a contact a nickname. Nickname can also be helpful when some of the complicated name otherwise trip up the voice recognition. If your not the whole bravery thing the same menu includes fills the frenetic spelling out first and last names which go along way help voice control work properly. And while we’re in here even thought its nothing to do with voice control its worth knowing use the same menu and her birthday general notes and any other important dates like anniversary.
