Are you able to put a ruler guide line over a completed document in Publisher? I have documents or letters my wife does in layout in Publisher then I put pictures. I wanted to center this certain picture and wanted to use the ruler guide line to show me the center position and have it stay on the document until I moved over the picture. When I pull the line over and let go the line does not appear on the document. Just a little at the top and bottom using the vertical line. If you can tell what I can do if possible with this program I would apprecitate it

How to Place and Move Ruler Guides in Publisher 2007

In order to place ruler guides in Microsoft Publisher you need to have your rulers displayed. So to go ahead and to put a guide onto your document then go ahead and go up to the ruler and it can to the horizontal or vertical ruler. And your mouse is going to become shaped like this with a line and then two arrows. Go ahead click with your mouse and then go ahead and drag down. And you’re going to see that you get a green line and this is your guide, your ruler guide. And you could go ahead and you could release it when you want to place it like that let’s go ahead and do one from the other tool bar, let go. Now if you want to move these ruler guides after you place them, simply click on them and your mouse will turn into that line with those arrows again. And then simply grab a hold of it and move it to its new location and release it. So that’s how you place and move ruler guides in Microsoft Publisher.
