How to Place the Offensive Lineman Correctly

Let us take a look at offensive line play and basically what we are going to look at today is where our offensive lineman is going to place his hands on the defender. We would like to have him place his hands on the inside of the defender. If he can control the inside part of his player, he will be able to dominate the player. If he is wide or outside, he loses inside leverage so right now, we are going to get leverage by having a wide base. We are going to get leverage by dropping our pads under his pads and we are also going to have inside leverage, here are three leverages we are looking at.

Eyes under eyes, feet wide and inside leverage so from this position right here, he can control his player. Again there are three different leverage points, eyes under eyes, pads under pads, feet wide and hands inside. They are three leverage points we need to drive walking a defender.
