We are here in my small vineyard and I am going to add some fruit trees to this vineyard. This year I started a bunch of different great vines; there are one-year-old great vines of different varieties that grow really well in this climate. Now, I am going to add this beautiful peach tree to this side, it is a dwarf peach tree and it grows in a column so it is not going to get too much taller than this and it is not going to get too much wider than this. It is a perfect; it is a plant and then urban environment. I have dug a hole and I have also make sure that the soil is pretty loss around the whole thing. Now, for your fruit trees and your vines, you are not going to get fruit right away. The reason why you are not going to get fruit right away is because the roots have been cut down so that they can be bare root and it is going to take awhile for those roots. Especially the great vines it takes about two years for those roots to really take whole and for the great vines to grow up.
Just trying to loosen all the soil around the inside of the pot, basically what I am going to be able to do now is just pop out pretty much the root bowl of the tree. I think starting in the orchard on your property is one of the greatest things you can do. Number one it adds character to your property. Number two, it is something that you are believe on to the next person because the trees will last possibly longer than you will live there. And just imagine the real state lasting sheet including small many orchards as a selling point to your property. Hopefully, you will go out there and start researching apple trees and peach trees and dwarf trees.
Now because I just planted it, I am going too really, really so get with the post but first I am going to go over here and I am going to plant some other orchard trees. Now, I am planting this apple trees in my raise bed and what that is going to do it is actually going to make this apple trees grow amazingly well because it is going to retain water so it going to have enough water, it is going to have enough drainage it is also in the most fertile soil. I have here and hopefully, next year I will start getting some apples. I am Patti Moreno the Garden Girl. Thanks for watching.
