How to Plant Organic Vegetables Part ½
[Music Playing]
I’ve got the one I’m casting down okay so now, we’re going to do this yeah, I know this is cactus mix on it. There’s a really nice sandy soil. Oh! Yeah you! Hey how are you doing?

Hi how are you doing today? So today, I really like it today. I get to play into my vegetable garden. I always love it when I get to play at somebody else’s vegetable garden and they pay me for it. A very long time ago, I use to do it for free for people but I loved it. And I said, maybe they have to pay me for it. So—and you see what I’m doing here, I already added a wide variety of things to the garden because this is a nice raise bed. Somebody put it together really nicely, it’s nicely built, solid, a really nice job in putting the raise beds together. I think that this one is a taller raise bed than this one even though it looks lower. I don’t know if they went down but it looks like a taller raise bed because this is a really nice size for a raise bed and a raise bed shouldn’t grow seven to 10 more times food in this the same environment, you can’t control your environment. They have a nice little drip system already set wherever you go.
And I’m basically adding a mixture of compost, a little bit of 00:04:05 and I added my own organic fertilizers which I make. I added to it so now we’re in the process of putting here. The variety of because basically, what I did here, you see this is a—it’s really a pomp and cactus mix but for vegetables, it’s a sand mix. Let me see where the ingredients here so we –basically various product, pumice and sand. Really nice mix for vegetables. One of the things about compost is it’s a little too rich for vegetable to get started in. Once the vegetables are growing, they’ll love the compost but when they’re small, they like it to be in mellow environment. They don’t want to be stressed out. So we’re taking this really nice sandy mixture. We’re going to use this as a top layer as a mulch. So we’re going to layer all on, it’s going to be like a mulch. That’s going to be on top on here because we always want—
When the process of putting—what I did before I plant, I mix the soil, gather everything together, get all of these together here before we do our vegetables. So I’m going to go ahead and finish this and then I will come back and I’ll start planting the vegetables okay. So thank you. I’ll be back as soon as I get the rest of this done.
