How to Play Acoustic Guitar: Palm Muting

I want to talk about one more thing and that is called Palm Muting. If you notice in the last section when I was playing the blues (Guitar Demo) That kind of muted tone as suppose to. Here is how you do this; here is the difference between this. (Guitar Demo) And this (Guitar Demo) Hear the difference? This is a littler tricky but it is easy to do. You are going to be placing the meat of the palm of your right hand very lightly just barely in front of the little white plastics thing on your bridge. And just rest it there, do not put any pressure on it, just like if you are relaxing watching TV or something just place that guy right there. You are going to be using that in all kind of, you can even use that stuff for your open chords if you want. So remember just not too much now, do not put it too far forward because you will just kill the notes entirely, you will have this. I am doing more normal that I would just to kind a give you an idea of how it does but you do not have to go mad about and then raise your hand.
