Here, I want to show you few variations on typical major course. The course E, A, and B. The problem of this course array in normal E is like this.
[Demo]
A can be play like this.
[Demo]
Or you can the barre version. We have on the 5th fret starting on the lower string.
[Demo]
And then, I move the whole thing up, one whole step this way to be play the B or you could play it here.
[Demo]
I use to prefer and play like this without playing the last note.
[Demo]
But now, we can play it like this to make it sound a little more leash. There is difference between the normal E here with some adding the 9.
So, this note and off to E of the D string on the 2nd fret. I move that up to the 4th fret and my pinky so bit of stretch.
Let us go the practice exercises stretching as well and it sounds nice. So, this ring finger I am not using it just sit in there and tried put out the way so you can see it, so that is an E add 9.
[Demo]
That is an E add 9 and here is an A add 9. Instead of playing the normal A, I am adding on this 9 the same way. This note A one of the G string on the 2nd fret still just move up, there is number up the 4th fret using my pinky there. So,
[Demo]
This is the C approaches the E chord. This finger looks a little different. It is a nice ring to them.
[Demo]
Here is a Bsus chord that it works well too. I am playing it all is like a power chord, heading on the B note here with your pinky on the 4th fret, on the G string, and then letting the bass two string being open.
[Demo]
Then back to A add 9, there is E then.
[Demo]
You can also play the A with this way to make it leash sounding chord. You play the normal E shape barre chord but you actually let the bottom two strings being open. So, you bend the index finger a little bit, so you do not barre away.
[Demo]
And now, for lush sounding B and other cool chord. You have to move whole thing up.
