Hey what’s up guys? I got a song, my brother Matthew suggested that I listen to, so I don’t know if anybody—I’m sure other people other than me and him listen to this, so hopefully this helps somebody who wants to learn to play it.
I really don’t have tabs for it. There’s some on ultimate guitar but I don’t really look at them a whole lot. I’ve got just a couple of sections over that I want to try and cover, you know that I think will help with it. The beginning kind of verse is just two B’s that starts on the C, it’s like [Demonstration]. It goes through the verse, and then after that it’s like, “I don’t’ mind”, but it before it [Demonstration] and it’s like three times. Now after that it goes into this kind of little section sounds like this. It’s like [Demonstration]
That part that very, very last part is kind of tough for me to get you up, but the way it starts out, it’s got an Am, and you just have your middle and ring finger on the G and B strings 2nd fret and you just strum and hammer on the B-string. So your first finger on the 1st fret, and then the second B is hammer on a play the 3rd fret right here on the higher string [Demonstration] a couple of strums [Demonstration]. And set fourth times in and switch to C and do the same thing [Demonstration]
And then it’s like [Demonstration]. That’s C is to add your pinky finger on the B-string, 3rd fret. And then it’s a C but this first, as you originally have your first string just on the B string 1st fret, kind of bar that down so it’s covering now the B and the E-string, the bottom two strings in that 1st fret. So it looks like this [Demonstration]. And then after that it goes into this where you play—you’re supposed to mute the A-string. It’s kind of tough for me at sometimes, but you know it’s what you do. Pointer finger 3rd fret, on both the E’s so [Demonstration], so it’s just
Then, pretty much that’s the basic. I want the basic strong in patterns, I mean, now some ultimate guitar have different tabs on there so that might be the way to actually play it, but when I just play along with the song or things you know if you’re in a cover, that would be the perfect way to play it.
Then the solo, there’s I guess two ways you can play it, all depending on your preference. There’s really three parts to it [Demonstration]. You can play it that way the first part. So you know that’s on the 6th fret on the B-string, that’s the string above you high E. If you don’t know the names, they go E-A-D-G-B-E. It starts from the top to the bottom. So it’s six to the nine on the string up which is the D string [Demonstration] and not really know what goes from there, [Demonstration]
So I don’t know if that’s the correct way, but that’s what I’ve got from listening to it. If you don’t like the whole six to nine thing, you can actually bend down here on the fifth, on the B-string, that might be the way to play it because I think it sounds more like a bend than play another note on the album but you put that, so that would eliminate the five. This is the same as the six, and bend, you eliminate the nine on the next string, and then it’s three, it’s the same as your seven so you can play it like this [Demonstration]. So you can play anyway you want it on that.
And that’s basically it. You know you can listen to the song. Listen to the different parts and you can hear from which of these parts to go to where. So hope that helped out and if you guys have any other request or anything like that, get back to me. I’m not really that good on the guitar yet but you know I’m trying to get there. I just started playing a year ago. So if you like you can leave a comment, if not, you can leave a comment too. So thanks for stopping by and let me know if you need help on any of the songs. Thanks guys. Take care.
