Let Go’s:
Start with just let go drops. Follow the athlete forward keeping a stable core, stop on half way down and then drop him and let him go. Shock the system and having more explosive push off, gravity is pulling you down toward the ground. We want to have the athlete explode into a full sprint. Keep your core solid and your head up. Look straight down the court, step down to the ground and accelerate. Keep a good balance position, partners got to have great control, let him go, watch him fly.

Three step drops:
Now, we are going to add some resistance. So, we are going to take about three steps resisted then let him go. We recruit more muscle tissue then we turn it lose and let it go free, good run technique, force at the ground, explode out with a great sprint. Give him just enough resistance to let him try and work a little harder. Turn him loose that is like a slingshot that is getting pulled back and firing him out of here. We want to make sure we use good run technique here, bring the knee up, the hill up, the toe up resisted lateral slide with a let go.
Start in a good athletic position. Now, we want to do a good lateral slide. The first three or four steps are going to be resisted then they are going to fly out of there. Make sure to work each direction equally. What we do to the right, we got to come back and do to the left. Push with your feet, try not to reach with the heel, stay on the front part of the foot.
