How to Play Better Than Me by Hinder Guitar Lesson Part 2
The only thing I wanna show you different in that whole song is the bridge, okay. The rest of the chord is the same, the rest of the verses is the same, and the pre chorus is the same. Now the pre chorus, just like it is named, pre chorus, comes right before the chorus, okay. You probably already knew that but I wanna tell you anyway. So for the bridge, the bridge you’re gonna play, a lit-, two, two new bar chords that we didn’t do yet. So, you're gonna start out with your bar in all six strings, okay, on the 3rd fret. Before we were just bottom five strings, this time you’re gonna bar all six strings, and because it’s the barring all six strings, instead of your ring and pinky in the two middle, they’re actually gonna be on the five and the four, okay. So, for this first chord, you’re gonna bar across all six strings, your ring finger is gonna go on the 6th, the 5th string, 1, 2, 3, 4, 5 it’s your A string, 5th fret. Your pinky goes to the fourth string, 5th fret, okay. And you’re gonna play, see… so with that strum pattern I would just play down – down – down – up – down – down – down – up – down, see… yeah, so the first chord, is just down – down – down – up for all four of these chords. So the first one, like I said, you bar across all six strings, ring and pinky on the 5th fret of your four and five strings, okay. So you play, down – down – down – up , then you gonna go back to the one bar, we talk about earlier or you’re barring just the bottom five strings, and these two are on the 3rd fret, your two middle strings, your three and four strings. Same strum pattern, down – down – down – up, then, you’re gonna come up a string with each finger is gonna move up a string, so your bar goes from the bottom five to all six, ring and pinky moved up from the two middle strings to the five and four strings, okay. And the same strum pattern, down – down – down – up, then you’re gonna slide up here to the three bar we worked on at the beginning, just the bottom five strings barred, okay. You’re gonna play… so you play that twice, alright. So for the bridge, you want to strum along, okay. Once you’ve played that through at the end of the bridge after you play through it twice, you’re gonna hear this… okay. That’s just barring all six strings in the 5th fret. Ring and pinky are on the four and five strings here, okay. And you’re just gonna play, down – down – down – down – down – down – down – down, I think it’s 8 times maybe. And then the outro, you can just basically strum this chords here, the five bar to the one bar to the three bar. And remember if you see a line that has just three chords in it, it’s probably gonna be one measure for the first one, one for the second one, and then this one, the third measure probably would be two more measures, so… so that is the song guys. Check out the tab, if you’re having a little bit of confusion on what is he talking about the three bar, what’s he talking about five bar, so, because it’s in, it’s easy to see on the tab, and these tabs is really simple and easy to, to look at tabs, so.
