One of the key ingredients to making your tholo thundered is vibrato. So, vibrato, descriptively (guitar strumming), explains just that. It is like a vibrating motion that you are going to do to your string. As a post to this (guitar strumming), you are going to have this (guitar strumming). Okay? It is now hard to do and it is not easy to do all at the same time (guitar strumming).
How you are going to start it (guitar strumming)? It is just by wiggling your finger back and forth. Not this way. Not to exaggerate the movement. Not this way, but this way (guitar strumming), okay? It is kind of up and down crossways across the finger-board right there as posted this way. We are going to do this (guitar strumming).
Now something that will insist you in this is, who is the greatest vibrato guy in the world? It is Baby King. He had what was called the ‘Butterfly Vibrato’ where he would take the lose fingers of his hand that he was not using and rhythm them back and forth. So, it was a (guitar strumming). Think it that real tight vibrato. There is sometimes where you go and want to do it in wide sweeping motion and there is other time that you are going to want to play in nice tight motion. In other words, a wide sweeping motion (guitar strumming) and a tight motion (guitar strumming).
If you are going to do a wide motion, chances are you are going to do it a little bit slower (guitar strumming) and if you are going to do the quick tight motion, it is going to be a little bit quicker (guitar strumming). And, you can use your third finger (guitar strumming) or your fourth finger (guitar strumming) or your second finger (guitar strumming). Whatever finger that you want. Just go and practice a little bit to get that vibrating sound. Okay, that is vibrato.
