I will start by playing eighth notes on the high hat and then opening on the end of one, as well as the end of three. (Demonstration)

Throughout this DVD, I have kept my heel on the cowbell pedal while my toes remain on the high hat pedal. What we are going to do now is just put our whole foot on this pedal and play some traditional cowbell rhythms.
