(Guitar playing). Okay, strumming. Now strumming is obviously very important in all aspects of the guitar, but especially in flamenco guitar. The first strumming technique I am going to show you is rasgueado. It involves a funning motion of the fingers of the right hand across the strings. What I suggest is when you are learning this, your strings like so with your left hand. Do not put any pressure on the strings that touch them. So instead of this, (guitar demo) you got this, (guitar demo). This way you can hear all the movements. So (guitar demo), it is little floppy and you would know here, (guitar memo). You will know it for short, you are doing it right or not.
Okay, I am going to start this slowly. We are going to start with the pinky out, then the ring finger, then the middle finger and then the index finger. So what you will have is slowly, (demo). Let me do that again one more time, (demo). As you quick in the paste a little bit, you should thin not evenly all at once. So a little bit quicker, we are going to get this (demo). And finally what is it sounds like when you are done is (demo).
Okay now, just demonstrate this I am going to use the chord A minor, (guitar demo), G7 (guitar demo), F (guitar demo) and then E (guitar demo). So slowly, it will sound like this with the rasgueado, (guitar playing). Once again, (guitar playing), as you quick it up a little bit (guitar playing).
