How to Play Golf - Golf Ball Tips
Golf Tips
Hi I’m Sean “The Beast” Fister three times RE/MAX World Long Drive Champion.
Today I want to give you a tip that I think can help your golf game. What I try to do is
think about other sports that relate to the golf swing. We all played baseball growing up
and we’ve all skipped rocks across the lake. These two things are just like the positions
that you want to be in hitting a golf ball. What I want you to do is think about coming in
the ball like a homerun hitter coming in right here and staying behind the ball.
You don’t see any homerun hitters coming through like this. We’re driving you left side
and the centrifugal force of your swing will pull you up into a balance finish. Another
thing to think about is skipping rocks on a lake. We’ve all done that. It’s another thing
we’ve all done and it’s just like that if you’re in a golf swing I want you to think about
skipping a rock because you can’t skip rock with your head over here. You have to be
right here coming through and it’s the same thing with golf.
It’s coming right through here skipping rock same thing hitting the homerun staying
behind it. You’re in a power position. You want to drive into that left side. Right here you
see that position you just shift it down here and that’s a golf swing. Stay behind the golf
ball. Drive into it with your right knee against the firm left side and you’ll come up into a
ice finish. And don’t worry about falling back because when you drive in to that left leg
that club is going to pull you up in a nice balance finish and you’re going to hit the ball a
lot more solid and you’re going to get more distance.
Let’s take a look at what it looks like. That was out of the park.
