How to play guitar on your Android phone with Solo
Michael Callahan: Hi this Michael Callahan Dr File Finder and welcome to your butterscotch.com tutorial and how you can play guitar on your Android phone with Solo. If you see in the commercial with Eric Clapton with a guitar on his Android phone, Eric got nothing on me, you can get Solo in the Android market, there is a free version and one for pay.
So we'll tap on that and Solo starts to load and you can see there are chord names B minor A minor, S, E across the tab so there is also a few at the bottom right we've been experimenting and if you strum across the strings, that's a B minor chord. You can also finger pick the different strings, if you hit the menu button, you can see chord library, you can go into chord library and here you can assign the various chords that appear on the buttons by picking from these chords across the top, you can make them sharps, flats and so on or you can pick from these standard ones here, then you can assign them to the buttons you have the ones you want. We'll go back and press the menu button again and see instrument you can select from classic nylon string, acoustic steel string, electric mellow or electric distorted. We are doing acoustic steel string.
Another thing you can do with the menu button is play music and what that lets you do is you can select a music track and play along with it. You can record what you are playing or you can use ringdroid that I have installed on my Android to create a ringtone for yourself, pretty cool, but we won't do it right now.
So this is how you can play guitar on your Android phone with Solo and that's all there is to do it.
