Hi, there for anybody who wants to learn the left hand chords to go with “Happy Birthday,” here is a lesson for you, if you want to learn the right hand, go to lesson number nine that I did a while back and it shows you all the right hand.. We would not spend much time with the right hand with this video, mainly with just your left hand chords. And we are going to use the same chords we have use in any other song which is manning your C, F and G. So, if you have already learned those, this would be a snap for you. But we will go through them again anyways, find your C note.
[Demo]
And every second note up from that we call that a Brad spread, so let us do with your C chord. Okay, go up to your F with your Brad spread and there is your F chord. And go up one more to a G and there is your G chord. We are also going to add an Fm here, so go back to your F for a second. Okay, once you have got that, take your middle finger move it to the left to this black note here. Okay, keep your other tip finger by the air. So this is your F, drop this down, that is your Fm. Okay we will be using that in the song too. That is all we need to know, so let us just figure out how we put it together and we are starting up with this G note here.
Okay, use whatever fingers are comfortable for you I am just using the fingers that are making a little bit easier for you to see on video, okay. Let us start off with the C chord, okay.

And a G chord,

And back to a C. Let us just go over that part again. Starting here in the C chord, G and probably hit your G again here and a C. Okay, believe it or not, we are halfway through the song. Now the next part is we are going to go to my G here up to our top G here, C chord, C chord and an F, and your Fm, across here and your C chord, G and back to a C. Okay let us do that second half again, nice and slow starting with your G note and a C chord, okay, straight up to the next one.
[Demo]
F chord, Fm, and C, G, and back to a C. Okay, let us go to the whole thing one more time nice and slow and hopefully you will be playing this before long. Okay, starting with a C chord here.
[Demo]
G, G again, C, way up to the top, F chord, F minor, C, G and back to your C. Go back on, you have done it all. Okay good luck with that. Let me know how you make out.
