So that was the verse part as played by Angus and Malcolm for the rhythm parts. Now, Angus does a slightly different thing. Instead of the rhythmic part, it starts like this and goes, which is actually the equivalent played on one octave higher I think more or less. Yes, it is. So, you go like. This is not exactly the same movement. But, it is something that you just start on the seventh fret and you crash the A and G strings on the seventh fret. And then, you move down one whole tone.
Now, the first time he does this, actually, he left the strings ring adding the brattle and it is something like this. And later on, I think he just let it go and probably even live or he can even stop it. I do not remember exactly. You will have to hear that yourself. Most importantly is that you get the parts of the fret on where he does this and how he does it.
Okay, so that was the additional part of the Angus plays in the center all through a stereo position on the original recording. Let us get in to the solo. So the other day on the video, I started the solo playing of these two notes here in this position but I have seen that he does it up here which give a feather tone so you might want to actually do it here. This is rather simple so you just hit these two notes and then I am bending upwards. But, since it is not very easy to bend them upwards, you need strength in your fingers. I just usually help myself with other two fingers that I just put in the back of the two main bending fingers so it is easier for me to bend it up.
That is easy actually. I am not sure if you have ever seen how to do this but it is so simple. I think you can figure out yourself. Simply think of your finger black, I mean, your flats. Take your pick, put a flat to where the strings are, and make sure you get at least the E string because it is a previous one and it is the one where this thing is going to work better. Even better if you can get three strings here – the first three strings are the E, A, D, you want to work one of those like that. You see how it sounds.
This is an A. Now, what it does here. You see it is so flat here. Go flat, then. I do it but a bit flat in the beat with the pick here so. Typical lick so. Okay, let us do this again. Okay, we will do it again so that you can follow hopefully all the things that I am doing. I will do it slow.
Okay and then he proceed on with this little solo. He does very simple things actually really and these are.
And there it goes. I hope you were able to grab this one. Thank you so much.
