Hey! What's up everybody? It’s Aaron from freeandeasyguitar.com. This lesson is actually—we have a song called Hero by Enrique Iglesias. It’s been a while since this song came up but he said some new is coming out, some people have requested this song recently so here is what through so go easy on me. I'm going to try to sing a little bit for you but I'm going to basically show you—when I play this song, when you hear the G chord, this is a 4th finger G chord, the middle finger is my 3rd fret of your 6th string on the E. The pointer finger is on the 2nd fret of your A, two middle are open and then your two one strum which is your B in high E. The ring and pinky finger on the 3rd fret, the 4th finger of D. Okay, when you hear the song start, you hear something like this.

When you hear that, that’s where I really recognize that song and that just on the G chord. I'm playing the same picking pattern four time.

So I'm playing the 6th string in the low E first and I'm playing the three strings kind of soft. I'm playing sixth string, three string. Now I'm playing one, two, three, and two. Okay, so it’s six, three, one, two, three, and two in the G chord.

And that gets in the chorus. So I will just strum the verse and the chorus unless you want to pick it, that’s you're call. If you want to pick just pick it.

You did pick any strings basically that you want. I mean if you're playing a G chord and you pick all six strings. If you're playing that Em and you can pick all six strings anyone with the six and—if you're playing the C just strum the bottom five and you pick in the bottom five.

Anything in the D chord just strum, pick any in the bottom four.

So as far as strumming, that’s what I will do. I want to strum with my pick.

Em to C.

To D sets four—so I’m just lying

Switch to C, To D sets four.

You don’t have to play D sets 4, you play a D or E but the rhythm gets almost sounds like this.

The chorus is just G to D, to a C. Put you measures G to D, to C for two measures. You'll see like a C/E and also a D/F sharp chord. Just play a C for two measures. All C/E sharp means that you play or a C/E means you play C chord formation. And you put all six strumming because you’re at E now. So the C is the chord/and then the second one is where the bass now come from. That’s all guys on D/F sharp is a D chord with an F sharp bass kind of which is E, F, F sharp. So don’t worry about it. I was to play a C for two measures. So basically it’s G, D to C for the chorus.
