How to Play He's A Pirate - Pirates of the Carribean Theme - Part 2 of 4
So that, those first three parts together are these. Firt, this is the first part…. First time through. That was the second part. Third time… okay. Fourth time, fourth little riff. You basically, when you finished the whole… that rings finger is there on the 7th fret, your G string. You just play 7th fret, G string… 5 on the B… 6 – 6 – 6 – 8, and then you play, 5… let’s see… yeah. I’m sorry about that… you play… 7 on the G, 5 – 6 – 6 – 6 – 8 on the B, it’s on the B… high E… and then 7th fret back down on the G, okay. So that last little part is this one, it’s the… okay. And the last little part you play is you play the 7th fret of your G, and you play 6 – 5 – 5 – 6 on the B string, 7th fret on the G, and then back to one more 5 on the B string, okay. So, what we just learned and what the tab shows you for that should sound like this when you put them together… if I can play it right… sorry about that. My hand is cramping up. That’s lesson one, hope it helps, tabs are over here, let me know if you have a questions and this really, this song, it takes practice. And remember, for any note on the D string… ring finger, any note above the bar on the G string, ring finger. Any note on the 6th fret of the B string, you’re gonna play with your middle. 8th fret of the B string is your ring, I’m sorry, your pinky finger. And then any note on the high E is either that bar on the 5th fret or your middle finger on the 6th fret. So, good luck, check out part two. What’s up everybody, it’s Aaron. You’ve already seen part one, and this is part two of Pirates of the Caribbean theme song. In part one we covered this… bear with me, I can't play it yet. This feels just like… sorry… that, we covered that part, sorry about messing up there. But, check out lesson one, if you haven’t seen it yet, and you wanna learn the beginning. In the second lesson, we’ll gonna cover this right here… let’s see… that part there. Now that you’ve heard what it sounds like, I hate my, I don’t hate it, but for this one I like my classical. So, I’m gonna try to teach to and so I can play a little better. So, alright, first thing we’re gonna do for this little part, the… that part. Start out with your pointer finger bar across the bottom three strings… you’re really only gonna play the G and the B strings. But, you know, you can bar across the bottom three, because it’s easier. What I’m gonna do is, you’re gonna strum these, the G and the B strings, one, two, three and on the fourth strum, your middle finger is gonna go on the 11th fret of your B string, and you’re gonna pull off. So, you’re gonna go one, two, three… add your middle finger on to the 11th fret of the B string, play it fourth time, and pull off. So… and try not to play the high E string, so… like that. You can actually play the D, G, and B if you prefer for that sound to. So then you just bar across all four bottom strings. So, one, two, three, on the 10th fret, and then the fourth one, your middle finger’s going on the 11th fret and pulling off, okay. Then you slide down to where your middle finger or pointer, either one, it doesn’t matter. Is on the 8th fret of your B string, and you have a finger on your 9th fret of your G string, and you’re gonna play… so one, two, three, just playing that G and B string again. One, two, three, and then on the fourth one, you play it, and then you hammer on this ring finger, there to the 10th fret of your B string, so… okay. You go back up here… and then you go right back on the same holding, but instead of going… like before, you gonna go one strum here, slide everything down two strings… and pick the G and B again. So, you have had up here you have the B string cover on the 8th fret in the D string, or G string cover on the 9th fret. When you play that… slide it down two, so now your B string is covered 6th fret and 7th fret on the G string. Play that… then you play 5 – 5 on the G and B string. So, I just used this bar… and then right back up to 6 on the B and 7 on the G. So it sounds like this… okay. Or… let’s see… that’s just what it suppose to sound like. Once you’ve finish up with that, the whole… then you go unto this. Okay, not as tough as it looks or sound. Alright. So, when we get to that part, you’re gonna start off with your pointer finger, okay, you don’t have to bar anymore. Start off with your pointer finger on the 7th fret of your G string, okay. Now, what I like to do is, a lot of this notes you’re gonna be 7th fret G… to 9… to 10… and then to the 8th fret of your B string. Now, you could go pointer finger on the 7, let’s go to the first four notes, okay. Is 7 – 9 – 10 on the G string… and then B is 8th fret. Now, you could do this, you could do the whole… 7th fret pointer finger on, and then 9th fret ring, 10th fret pinky… and then 8th fret middle. I don’t like that personally, because I like to eliminate my pinky as much as possible. You know, you’re suppose to work with your pinky to become just good as with it, but still, you know, I think I’ve broken mine in the past years coz of basketball. Because of that, it’s not straight, it kinda angles up. So it eliminates some of the possibility that I have with it. If you like your pinky used it, if you don’t like it, and you know, you’re suppose to have fun. So, don’t use it if you don’t want to. But, so we have on the G string 7 – 9 – 10, now, when I go from my 7, the pointer, to 9 with the ring, and 10, I just slide my ring up. Because then your pointer finger is in perfect position for the 8th fret of your B string, okay. So the first time through that, it goes… okay…so…
