Try using a single coil pickup into something like a Fender tweed model with about 1/3 gain add a little compression & med room reverb and that should get you pretty close. Just tweak the eq from there. No such thing as a stupid question, only a stupid answer.

Thankyou! Literally, I've wanted to learn this lick for the last year! I'm 54 and use to play when I was a kid, and I've recently moved to an area where I know no one. I've pulled out the old acoustic and enjoyed that. I purchased a Fender Tele 72 re-isuue and have been re-aquointed with music. This is very much appreciated. THANKS! Tom
