How to Play Lead Guitar: E Minor Blues Solos

(Guitar playing). All right, here our first E minor blues, (guitar demo), (guitar playing). All right, lets slow that down a little bit and explain what is going on. It is pretty simple, but there is a couple of things.
Number one, you will notice especially on the first solo that there is times when I am not playing anything and that is okay. It is like having a conversation. You do not have to be gabbing all the times. So, take a breath once in a while. Let the note kind of sit there with the rhythm guitar forward through it. So, it is important when you play lead guitar. You do not have to counseling be feeling the error with notes.

So here is the first solo. Once again, I am using the third finger with the third fret. Here it goes, (guitar playing), (guitar memo). I am counting there it is because some people when they are hanging on an note, they get all nervous and now they kind of want to jump right back in just let it count, try to keep as steady as possible. If you have a metronome, once you get these unto your fingers in another words feeling all more comfortable. Try to work with the metronome. It really, really helps in keeping things nice and either. And remember, playing link guitar you are in training for playing with drummers and drummers get notoriously grouch you when you start speeding up and slowing down. So try to keep up even.

All right, here is the second E minor blues using those flat five notes, (guitar demo). And this one is using, the flat five that extra added note in the scale. It goes (guitar demo). All right, so once again it is real simple notes but now we are getting into some actual melodies. So, experiment warned these solos, but start experimenting on your own. Try to find melodies within the scales. You just have to, you are going to have to do a little hit and miss to find them.
