All right slap upside the head, we are going to review pretty much all the positions and techniques that we have learned so far and we are going back to the key beat, take advantage of some of those open strings there at the bottom of the neck. So, here we go, we start it of one, two, three, four (Music Playing) two, three, four, one, two, three, four (Music Playing) two, three, four (Music Playing).
Now, by the way, what I was just doing there with my finger and I have been doing on a few songs during this video (Music Playing) this is called vibrato. What you are doing is you are actually just like shaking your hand, kind of from the wrist, and, using your finger and getting (Music Playing) just making the note staying a little longer; it is a violin technique, and a (Music Playing).
Night is a nice a sustaining sound, it makes your playing sound a little more melodic. Okay, on to the next part, the next position, what we are doing is retaking the C minor position (Music Playing) and using this part of it like this (Music Playing). So we actually, just went kind of through that whole scale (Music Playing) in the C minor position, starting on the root note of E.
Once again, it is (Music Playing) going to do it again (Music Playing). Now, we’re going to continue up the neck going to the (Music Playing) A minor scale shape (Music Playing) see that? We are starting here on the root note and then going through that (Music Playing) that position number five (Music Playing) bend (Music Playing). Okay, taking in advantage of this bending up (Music Playing) same position (Music Playing).
Okay, now we are going to go to position number three here which is also called the G minor position. In the key D minor starting on an E and you are just going to walk right the scale, watch this, we are going to start on the note below the root note and go (Music Playing) like that, so, that was just walking right up the scale.
