So let us take a look at major pentatonic. Now, the good news, if you want to do a major pentatonic very quickly, let’s look at a cheap trick here that I picked up a few years ago, where you are taking A minor pentatonic which it by now we now goes like this (Music Playing). Let us start here and you moved down three frets, okay, and we do the same relative finger position (Music Playing) and end up on the same root note. So again, minor (Music Playing) watch this, we go, one, two, three, same finger position, now we have an A major (Music Playing) and you should end on the root note there.
This works in any key, you would say, you are doing a C minor, you are up here, start on the root note of C (Music Playing). One, two, three down to here, looks like an A minor but actually it is also a (Music Playing) C major (Music Playing).
