Hi, I am Bob from Toronto, Canada. This guitar lesson is about how to play The Immigrant song by Led Zeppelin.
Open wrist is played on the top string, second fret (guitar strums) ends in the fourth string, fourth fret (guitar strums). And, it goes back in fourth like this (guitar strums), cleared up the regular speed, just like this (guitar strumming).
You will practice that slowly as the picking is a little tricky, you have to jump off the A string. You keep picking, right? So, the opening rift is (guitar strumming). And then, it’s a (guitar strums), E (guitar strums), E (guitar strums), A (guitar strums), back to the rift.
Then, its A (guitar strums), E (guitar strums), C (guitar strums) and back to (guitar strumming).
And for the ending, it’s the same rift (guitar strums) and the chord at the end is C9 which is fifth string third fret, fourth string second fret, third string third fret and second string third fret. You play the rift (guitar strums). You play the rift (guitar strumming), then draw in the chord (guitar strumming).
That is a pretty much the whole song. As a suggestion, what I like to do is to play it with a WAWA pedal or a Heat Effect (guitar strumming). And so on.
Also, if you are going to jam on the Immigrant Song, you might want to get a base player to play this part (guitar strumming). While the guitarist can solo in Aft Shark Blues like (guitar strumming) makes for a good jam.
