Hi and welcome to another on of my easy to play lessons, today I am going to show you a nice easy way of playing Listen to your Heat. We will go through the opening of it first. I will slow it down and show you how to do it, okay.
[Demo]
As to most of the song main chords we are going to be using our Am just find your A note there, here is your second note that is your Brad spread, that is an Am. Go down one to the G, like here is your G chord, down one more to the F and that is going to be your F chord. In the opening section, that is all we are going to use and we are going to use those three chords all the way through the song too.
Right hand, we are going to start off with this A note up here, hope you find that. I will do it nice and slow for you.
[Demo]
Okay, I will go through that one more time, right hand only starting with your A note here okay, up to the G and then ending on your C there. Putting the chords with it, we are going to basically—starting off the Am, go down and come back up again, okay. Starting with your Am, down to your F, your G and up to your Am again, hit your Am again, down to your F, G, and ending on your A. Let us go through that part again, staring with Am here in your left hand and your A note in your right. Okay, here we go, F chord up to the G and your Am chord. Okay the second part, hit your Am again down to your F, G, and then end on your A. Okay, so there is the opening of the song.
I am moving into the next section, I will make it down into two parts for you, okay here is the first part.
[Demo]
Chord wise we are going to use the same three chords that we used in the opening okay. Your F, G, and your Am, so we have to run that again, your right hand we are going to start off with this E note up here. And nice and slow, and the second time through is a little different, okay we will go through that one more time okay, starting with your E note here, second time through a little different, go to a G.
Let us put some chords with it. Starting off with your Am again, down to your F, G, and up to your Am, second time through, down to your F, your G and back up to your Am again. So, use your left hand and just keep repeating this stuff, it makes it nice and easy. Let us go through that one more time here, okay. Am, starting off with your A up here, down to your F chord up to your G up one more to the Am. Second time through, F, up to your G and end on your Am, okay.
Okay, then the next section that goes—
[Demo]
Same chords again, we are stuck with the same chords all the way through here, only three of them. Right hand, starting off with your A note here, okay. Do that one more time again, starting with your A. Use the fingers most comfortable for you, I am just using the ones that help me to get really easy for you to see, okay.
Now put some chords to that starting with your Am again, down to your F, up to your G and your Am again, hit your Am again, down to your F and up to your G, ending on your Am. Let us go through that part again, Am, down to an F, up to a G and up to an Am, and down to your F, up to a G, and ending on your Am. Okay, so that is last part of the song.
