Okay, here is lick Number 23. We are going to start off this lick on fret number 10 on the low E string. Using alternate picking, we are going to play 10, 11, 12 on the low E, same on the A, then we are going to move up to 12 on the A and play 12, 13, 14, same on D, so far we got this.
Okay, then we are going to repeat 12, 13, 14 on the D and play the same on the G, so far we got this. Then we are going to play 12, 15, 16 on the G, and the same on the B, then we are going to play the same thing on the B again, then we are going to play 12, 15, 16, 15, 12 on the high E.
Now, we are leading in to lick 24. For this lick, we are going to play the 15th fret on the B string and bend it up a whole step. Then we are going to have 12 on 15, pull off to 12 on the high E, then 15 pull off to 12 on the B, then we are going up 15 pull off to 12 on the G back to 15 on the G. Then the next part, we are going to have 12 on the high E, 15, 14, 12 pulled of on the G-string then 14 pull off to 12 on the D and then a half bend on the 14th fret of the B.
Now, for lick 25, we are going to start on 14th fret on the B and we are going to bend up a whole step, then let it down and bend it again. Then just keep the 9 between the half bend and the actual fret note on 14th fret on the B. Then on the last time around, you actually play the bend on the 14th fret and then you hear the let downs of the normal note and then you play 12th fret on the G. Then for the last part of the lick, which is kind of bar across 14th fret on the G and the B and bend up and down. It is probably easy to pull towards the flow doing this. Then pull off from 14 to 12 on the G then 14 to 12 on the D. We are going to end on 14th fret on the G.
Okay, here is the final lick, lick number 26. It is going to start on the third fret on the A string. I am going to play three, five, seven then repeat that then shift the little finger from seven to nine. Then we are going to have 5, 7, 9, 10, 7, 9, 10, 12. Then we are going to have 9, 10, 12, 14 on the A. Then we are going to play 10, 12, 14 on the A. Then the same on the D, 11, 12, 14 on the G. Then 12, 13, 15 on the B. Then bend up 15 whole step on the D and let it down slightly and push it up to the desired note again. Do the same thing on the 17th fret on the B. Then we got a half bend on the 18th fret on the B string. Then we are up to the 20th fret on the B string and bend that. Then the last note we got is the 22nd fret on the B string and then bend that. That whole lick slow should sound like this.
Well unfortunately, we have come to the end of the DVD. I hope you had fun going through the licks that I am showing you today. I definitely had fun teaching this DVD as Dimebag Darrell has has big influence in my guitar playing. If you want to check out some more Pantera star stuff, there is also a Learn to Play Pantera DVD. We can learn five classic Pantera songs and learn a few more licks by the man himself, Dimebag Darrell. Also, before I forget, there is a backing track available on this DVD as well which you can kind of put all of these licks together that you have learned and play the solo as I did on the DVD or come up with some of your own ideas as well. So until next time, I will see you later.
