The Knack: My Sharona
So, unlike the previous times this time I am going to record directly in the control room and I am using a cabinets that is support the inside the recording room and we are making it in there and bringing in the sounds in here usually that way that we do records.
We miked this vintage Marshall cabinet
using three different types of mikes
This one here is used to capture the room sound
The Amp is in the control room
I'm in the control room getting ready
Chris – my sound Engineer – is using the camera
(hey Chris ;) )
Will record my guitar part (Lead Guitar)
over the original record "rhythm section" only
My guitar will be recorded and mixed down
with the band by us, like in the original record
