So now we’re going into the key change of One Last Cry which is G flat minor over the G flat major so it’s being kicked up. Yes, it’s being kicked up, so here we go.
[Demonstration]
And then the regular chords back to the original.
[Demonstration]
So, I just ended it quickly there, I just wanted to get the time. So, here we go—it’s going to be A flat, B flat, B natural, D flat then the key change so here we go. So the melody is going to be—
[Demonstration]
And A natural, F sharp here and now its F sharp, not G flat anymore. So it’s F sharp.
[Demonstration]
You know so, and on, and on, and on as he sings, I was trying to sing, I cant So it’s just G flat, G flat, or G flat, G natural, F sharp back and forth so, again.
[Demonstration]
A flat, B flat, B natural and D flat.
[Demonstration]
So, I really won’t break my time trying to explain the notes that I’m playing so just bear with us to watch and write down while I’m playing.
[Demonstration]
So, you can actually add a D major chord for advanced players out there to make it sound really powerful.
[Demonstration]
So, the left hand is going to be relegated to just to—you could play octaves or the whole notes or the whole chords. I just play octaves. Actually, now I’m going to rotate the chords.
[Demonstration]
Now, logistically it is very smooth pattern because it just breaks down perfectly for where your hand is supposed to be. Okay, so watch again. I’ll play slow.
[Demonstration]
And I just ended on G major. So that is it for the—you know, on the octaves or the notes that you playing are just G major, A minor, B major and that’s it basically on your left hand. And the chord in that melodic section is going to be D, F sharp, G, D, F sharp, C, G.
[Demonstration]
That’s the beat in the breakdown part.
[Demonstration]
And again any way you want as long as it is a G major which consists of G, B, and D. So that is it for “One last Cry” tutorial. It’s a little bit longer, it’s a two parter. So, I wanted to make this a little bit more in depth and it should be a handful for those that aren’t used to playing music and those that can—that are fluent with the keyboard. This should be very helpful. If you can play it already, that’s good and if you can’t that’s good as well. So, as long as you get something from it, that is what I’m aiming for.
So, learn the skills G flat minor and G major. I want this things hang up. There will be more coming in the fall, so it’s a good way to start with at fall. Thank you for your time and have a good week. Bye!
