This is the intro riff of the song Purple Haze by Jimmy Hendrix. Slide to the 9th fret on the 4 string, 7 on the 3rd string, a ¼ bending on the 8th fret of the 2nd string, and then 7 on the 4th string, then 5 on the 4 string, open 4th, open 6th, and slide from the 5th to the 7th on the 5th string. Do that entire phrase again but this time instead of 5-0, you perform a slide on the 5th. Everything else is the same.
Second section, slide up to the 7th fret on the 5th string, 5-7 on the 4th, full bending on the 7th fret, and 5 on the 4 string. That’s 5 on the 4th and 5 on the 6th string, open 6, and 3rd fret.
And the final part, slide up to the 7th, 5-7 just like before, same bending, but slide from 5th to the 7th, and 5-0, slide to the 9th on the 4th fret, and 7-9 on the 3rd string.
So that entire riff in slow motion would sound like this. And then the verse is just E, E7, G and A. you can play this chord here on the 7th fret with an open 6th string, the 5th string on the 7th fret, 4th string on the 6th fret, 3rd string on the 7the fret, the 2nd string on the 8th fret, and the 1st string, open 1st string.
