Another tutorial I had been asked about was this “Shoot to Thrill” so let us see it. Let us start with the Angus going like this and Malcolm goes to our rhythm part. Now we will see that as well, but before we do, there is like a number of times I forget like three or four times that Angus keeps on like this. He is waiting for the song to come up and then like that. This is cool, you know, instead of doing everything with your pinky finger. I think it is in last time he does this, but previous times he goes. Last time he will go like this and then this.
And how do we do that? It is a simple G and then D and you see that? This is a power chord. It is a C. This is G. D and A. This part it is an E. This chord is complex. I think type of E. I forget its name. You know, it should mimic this thing here. And actually on the record, they might, well, do it this way. Do not ask me to give you this but let us just play it together so that you will hear the sound of notes, individual notes and you will hear it yourself. Watch in my hand position please.
I have seen live, Angus going here. So the way I do it is this is just, you know, could be the final part of this thing. This is like, it is like a D and you bring it up all the way up on the seventh fret and then you add this barre here that I just used to block the strings. But I do not block the E string and I go like this. And then we go into the chorus. That is an A. Simple, so it is the usual A, G, D. Sometimes the open A is played as well so back to the intro, again C and G.
