How to Play Soccer: Pick Up Game

AGILITY DRILL 3 PICK UP GAME Balance Pick Up Game, this is a basic balance and strength drill. It takes five to seven seconds to sit down and pick up your object. Here we're using just a simple little beanbag, slowly sit the hips down and back. These are one-legged squats, but you have to maintain balance. Sit down slowly, hips down and back, chest up with a solid core, it's five to seven seconds. Keep your head up and keep a stable core. Pick it up, put it back down, nice and gently, don't bend over. This is for power and balance. Develop that strength in your legs that you need for great speed. Start with sets of 5 with each leg, progress to the point where you can do 10. I like to see athletes do 3 sets of five to ten repetitions when they train.
