Okay here we are with the solo in the style of Mr. Steve Lukather. Here it is. I am going to play it and then explain.
Okay let us break it down, here is the first part. We are bending 16 B a whole step. Then I am playing 16 B to 15 B to 13 B. The way I play this is kind of natural. I am playing but what I do is I sometimes will just drop the note light and then just top it down and play. But sometimes, I strike it and then make a beautiful sound like this. So it is one of those two things normally. Now I play the same phrase in the lick but this time, I bend up from the 17th to the 19 on the B and E to an F# note and then letting that down. So that is 17 and then play the 15 and 13 like before. So let us play the solo.
We are just sliding up and then play 12G, 13B back to 12G then we bend this 15 high F a whole step then let it down to sound the G note which is going to be the 15th fret high E. So just recapping, here is the solo again, three, four.
Now we played the second part of the solo exactly the same as the start. And then the second half is very similar and instead of going down to that 13B, we bend this 18 high E up a whole step. Then we start half-further two times. Let it down and start again. Strike this 16 high E twice, 15 high E twice then we get this 18B, play it once, then bending up again, and then re-striking and then slide of. So let us just recap on that last part of the solo and then we play the whole thing.
So let us do the whole solo from start to finish nice and slow. But it is slow at the start. Here we go.
