Hi there welcome to another one of my easy free lessons, and today I am going to show you another beautiful Disney song called “Someday My Friends Will Come.” I just hope you get it okay? I am going to go through the first part and then I will slow down and show you how to do it.
Okay, so that is the first part. Okay, so let us go through the first part, nice and slow now, we are going to start off with the C chord in your left hand okay? Just standard C chord and as you go through the song if you want to play the individual notes, or if you want to play the three notes together that is fine too the song is a little better with the three notes individually, when you get practice then you can switch over to that if you want but either way is fine to learn.
So we are going to start off with the C chord, G note in our right hand, and we are going to move our little finger up to this black note. Okay, black note and up to the F, go to an A, okay. Go to a Dm, black note, that is a G7 in our left hand, start off that part again, okay so here is your C chord and we are starting on a G. okay, hard to see that one, next part, G7, okay, let us do the whole part one more time again.
Okay, then moving to the next section, do the same thing twice okay? So, start off with a C chord, we are using these three notes, go down to a Dm, and then switch to a G7, Dm, is like that, and G7 is like that. It tends off to your right nicely. Okay, so let us do that part again. When we get to that part get your finger on that note there, have a little bit of fun to your song okay?
You see that, okay, so let us play this, okay so that is the first part for the song. At the end of the song goes back to the beginning and has a different ending the second time through okay? So, let us do that. Here is the different ending, okay, so that one is starting on your C, okay, on your G on the right hand, right up here to this D, and then we are going to move our hand or finger to the black note, okay, come down to an F chord here and we are going to use this black note here.
And then we are going to go to an Fm, to a Dm, a G7, and then ending on a C. So let us do that again, starting out with a C chord, move your left hand on a D up here, go to an F chord and this black note, move down to an Fm, to a Dm, and switch to a G7 okay, go right up to your C note here and then back to your C chord. Okay, let us go through that one more time. Okay, so you have the whole song. Good luck with it, check out the other Disney songs at my website, lots of great lessons there.
