Let us start with the very basics. In tee ball, the members of two teams take turns hitting a ball off a tee set on home plate. The batters try to get on base and advance around the base was to home plate while fielders try to prevent this from happening.

In the majority of tee ball programs, scores are not cut and there are no winners or losers. However, may tee ball leagues do sanction scoring in winning for the older and more mature players, usually ages six years of age and up. This permits another level of play, tournaments, and other competitive events.
