I have been asked by a number of people to do a bit of a tutorial on how to play Titanic not using sheet music, just by playing it by ear, the easiest way you can on a keyboard.
Anyways, for starters I think what you need to do is to be able to do some basic chords and I will show you those first—that is going to be your left hand. Your basic chords in this song are going to be your C, here I will try to—so you could see it and here is your F and your G chord. There is also going to be an A minor chord which you see is these three and an E minor chord which is these three.
Okay that is all the chords you are going to need for this whole song and on occasions I tend to add an extra finger, so in there just for effect but I think you will do fine just by using those basic chords that I have showed you.
On your right hand this is what you are going to have to do is to put this everything in this area right here and you are going to start.

That is your opening melody of it, do whatever is most comfortable for your fingers, let me show it to you again. And the second section of it is pretty much similar except for the ending. So putting those two together shake them out with something that sounds like this.

Now we will get into the middle part of the song and it is on your left hand, you are going to be using your A minor chord and E minor chord that I showed you earlier and basically it goes like this. And the ending part is, and then if you play that with your left hand—there you have Titanic.
