That’s our chord, if you can’t hear it, listen to the song. And then you go back in the second verse.
[Demonstration]
And then you come down here on 7th fret, that chord second verse. All right, now the chords in the chorus, I’m going to teach you the first four, the last three that are used are the D flat minor. Now we just wanted the verse. These are the last three chords in the chorus so I’m going to leave—so for the chorus, the chords you’re going to need is an F sharp which for the F sharp, you’re going to bar on the 9th fret here a cross the bottom five strings and then use that little mini bar here. My ring finger down on the 11th fret.
[Demonstration]
Okay, if you don’t like that little mini bar with your ring finger, just don’t use the bar and just use your ring and pinky on the two middle strings, 11th fret. So that it sounds like this—
[Demonstration]
I like this one, but if you don’t use the bar and just use your two fingers and I was playing that. That sounds good I don’t think but you might be better and it’s easier. So that is your first chord. The second chord, you’re going to slide everything down at two frets. So from here, you’re going to slide everything down on two frets. The bar is now on the seventh, it was on the ninth, now on the seventh, this finger was on the ninth now, was on the eleventh, now it’s on the ninth. So—
[Demonstration]
That’s your second chord. From there your thirds chord is really easy because you have your first chord here.
[Demonstration]
Second chord.
[Demonstration]
Okay your the third chord, you just move your bar up and you move this ring finger and pinky up to the five and fourth strings. This goes right down on the 9th fret, this goes on the 8th fret on your three string. And then your last chord you come right back up to the chord you started with. So it sounds something like this.
[Demonstration]
That is just the strum pattern I use just because it is my preference.
[Demonstration]
You’ve got to figure it out. I don’t know this, that part of the song—well enough to sing it loud and one rhythm with the chorus so you guys can figure out for yourself if you have problem with it. Verse three in the chords again and then the last part is under the bridge down town where I—under the bridge down town, I could not get enough. Those chords are just an A to an A-minor to a G to an F, A chord more across five 5th fret of six strings. Ring on the three strings, 6ht fret, your ring and pinky four, five string 7th fret,
[Demonstration]
And that is your first chord. In the second chord, you don’t move anything you just take your right finger off. So this is the A., A minor. Then for your G, you just slide everything down two frets and stick that middle finger back on.
[Demonstration]
And for your F come all the way back up here on the 8th fret bar and then on the 10th fret you’re going to do a little mini bar I’m talking about.
[Demonstration]
That F chord sounds a little off. If you play without this capo, you can actually play that F instead of playing up here. You can play that near.
[Demonstration]
What fits better—but you can also move the A, A-minor and G from here you can climb up here, so it is really up to you guys. Watch my video on how the bars chords work if you do not understand. Every note in bar chord you can found on the string, so F, G, A you can find them on this string. So it is just a little different so you just have to move around and find that for yourself.
So Joe Garcia thanks a lot man for that. It is awesome, played beautifully. Feels great and the strings are great actions, wonderful so thanks a lot man. I really appreciate it. So everybody—and check out freeandeasyguitar.com and vote for you favorite teacher. You should be up tomorrow morning so or very sooner. If it’s not tomorrow maybe the next couple of days.
