Hey there my little Taylor Swift fans. Your Guitar Sage here, today we’re going to learn
how to play White Horse that is the chart up right here on my screen and I’m going to
start playing it and then we can talk about the bits and pieces chords, chords instruction
that’s from your finger picking how we would not want to do this. Okay so here we go
it’s going to sound no— I’m going to play the whole song through this in the player parts
of it but we’ll talk about the whole thing so here we’ll start from the intro.

Okay so that with the exception of the bridge is the entire song, okay. Now let’s talk
about the bits and pieces. The bridge is going to go something like this…

Something like that, right? So here we go let’s talk about the chords. I’m looking at my
chart right now and you see my videos before you know what I do I write up a chart fort
these songs and then just drive it in a real easy format that you can understand and so I

take anymore time talking about that here but also you can get a hold of this chart in there
as well so and it will be a little easier— down here so here we go it all in 4 meaning
4beats so like 1, 2, 3, 4, 1, 2, 3,4, 1, 2, 3, 4, 1, 2, 3, 4.
Okay, and there’s only a couple of split bars in here where we have 2 chords for measure
like 1, 2, 3, 4 that sort of thing. 1, 2, 3, 4 that’s called the split 2 chords you are to
measure. Alright let’s break this down into the intro, the verse. No, intro’s in the verse
and the end of the song is all the same.
Either write this down or keep it in mind so the chord progression G4measure, C4
measure, Dm for measure, C for measure so 1, 2, 3, 4, 1, 2, 3, 4, 1, 2, 3, 4 1, 2, 3, 4 and I
was playing it like that.

Okay intro verses all your verses your end of the song G,C, Em, C. Okay true chorus is
going to go measured Em, measure C, measure D suspended or D sus, measure D and
that’s all your creating courses, I’m looking, I’m looking, I’m verifying yes that’s all
your chorus. Chorus is going to go.
I’ll tell you what chorus and a tag is this Gm for measure, Em for measure C for measure,
D for measure so of course it’s…

And that’s the only difference okay so that G, Em, C, D, twice and then ended with 2
measures here are the 2 measures. The 1st measure is Dm for 2 beats, D with an F# in the
base bring your thumb around and grab that guy and the other 2 beats from the measure
and then C for whole measure so like…

Now the first turnaround, the turn around is that part of in between the chorus and verse
okay it usually happens in the first chorus but in this case it’s two minutes of G so just…

Okay, now construction of the song that has the old turnaround verse, free chorus and
chorus again. You’re writing all this down, good. Verse free chorus and chords and again
then I turn around or just G, Em, C, D okay and then the Bridge of course, okay. Bridge
is Em for two beats, D to the F# for 2 beats and then a C for one measure then G for 2
beats D with an F# for 2 beats and a C for measure.

Repeat that again G two beats, B, F# 2 beats and C for a measure and then 2 measures of
half and then back to the chorus and so that is the entire song. Let’s talk about strumming
real quick? We’ve got to sum it up here, we’ve got a minute and a half or so but
strumming you can do a few different things. 1 you can just go, if you’re new to
strumming then I would say you know just do diamonds or strumming on the top of the B
for one so like.

And otherwise you can do a strum like…

Okay what I’m doing is I’m hitting the chords and then choking it right here and from
right there karate chop your strings. It’s not that difficult don’t make it range through
because it’s not just go take that part of your hand and pop the strings okay. Now to do it
quickly there’s another story and that will take some time.
