B Mixolydian.
Jazz/Blues lick
Here is a nice little lick that is played in the key of B. Most commonly will be a B7. Now, they counting something like,

One, two, three, four;

One, two, three, four;

One, two, three, four.

You can start it right away on one. One, two, three, four

The rhythm I am playing here is the note B on the lower string and then I am playing these two notes on the D and G string by doing it this way. So, those two notes B and A there affix them with the first finger, and then I hammer on this note and then they both appear on the 9th fret the D and the G string.

So, first the lower strings hammer on, lower the string again. Here is the note and then the lower strings, the base notes, and then hammer on again. And this is what the right hand is doing.
I am using these two fingers to pluck the strings snap up a little bit like that in the country, country chicken picking style I guess. I know this is more like a walker belly top of groove.

Fast, nice when it take faster of course.
[Demo]
Then, lick.
[Demo]
So, this lick has Mixolydian mode sound of it because,

I am playing the Mixolydian scale here. Maybe I am doing it from the act move.
[Demo]
Be back to Mixolydian and then, a little bit of chromatic move from the B note down to A we can play this part like this, if we want to as well but I find the finger and it is little harder.
[Demo]
There you have it.
