Piano tutorial
Brought to you by Piano kid 100
Hi, this is a piano tutorial video for the Kanye West on called Love Lockdown. The song is new so I do not even know for a fact that, that is what it is called that. Here we go.
First, I am going to play my main index fingers injured so I am going to be playing kind of weird about this and how it goes.
[Demonstration]
All right, three chords, first chord, C#m7. Second chord, F#m7, and third chord is a B Major, and then back to the first one. So I am going to break it down in two separate ways like the beginners kind of way. So, the super newbie’s complete, and then with more keys involved. So the basic way to play would be…
[Demonstration]
So you are going to play the melody with one note any time with your right hand which is going to be C# and E, two times each two, two, and three. So you repeat that. Then you got to play the same thing but over here in the right hand to the right on the F#, F# ending, same thing same pattern. And then we are going to B. Then you are going to play B twice, E flat twice, B once, and then C# once.
Then with your left hand you play for the first part, you can play C#m chord which is C sharp, E, and A flat. So we are going to go…
[Demonstration]
And then you go play F#m which is F#, A and C#. And you are going to do this part. And then, you will play B back to the first portion. So you are going to play B, E flat, F#, and then C#, E, A flat. Let me hit this key as we play the B chord. And then we hit this C# and we play this C# on the left hand at the same time. All right, now let us play with chords on both hands; you are going to play…
[Demonstration]
You play the same chord where you can throw in the 7 if you want with your left hand. This is going to be for the first chord, you can play C#, E, A flat, and B. on your right hand, you will play this pattern. The first part of that is E, A flat, and C#. And the next part is A flat, B, and E. oh no, excuse me, you are not going to play the same with here what you are playing, A flat, C#, and E. All right so ones again with the first part is E, A flat, C#, and then A flat, C#, E. so you just take this E and move it up here. Then you play.
[Demonstration]
Same thing up here, then you play the F#7, F#m7 on the left hand. F#, A and C#, E. And on your right hand you can play this pattern, first part being A, C#, F# and then C#, F#, A.
So the same thing, you are going to be moving this A to this A up here. And then you are going to play the B chord which is B, E flat, F#, B, left hand. And with your right hand, you are going to play, F# and B. and then same thing, you are going to add the E flat up here so, listen and then, back to this here and back to the first chord. So you are going to end on C#, E, A flat. With your right hand you are going to play E, A flat, C#. So once again on basic version, we put all the keys up here.
[Demonstration]
And there you go.
